The CIO Connect Club
The members of this service are IT directors from a cross-section of industry sectors. Membership is restricted to the most senior individuals responsible for IT in their organisations, in order to ensure peer-to-peer relationships and effective exchange of knowledge. Through the CIO Connect website, which includes details of all members and offers a range of means of communication means, members are able to communicate with each other directly, or to pose questions to all other members or to a selected subgroup.
Membership allows full participation in all CIO Connect future events and access to summaries of all past events. Our events aim to address the most topical issues for IT directors today and are chosen in close consultation with members. The hallmarks of our events are outstanding speakers, extensive and expertly facilitated discussion amongst all participants, and an excellent atmosphere in often unique locations. Some events are intended for specific industry sectors, others are small meetings on specific hot issues. The topics are chosen to be relevent for most IT executives, focusing on emerging trends in technology, the developing role of the CIO, effective application of IT in the business, and effective management of suppliers and users. The format encourages interaction and exchange of experience, even in large groups. Events are held at convenient times.
The service also allows full access to the whole of the CIO Connect Internet Service. This includes a comprehensive source of research information on current IT management issues, again chosen for their relevance in consultation with members. Each information topic includes several sub-topics for which the most relevant and up-to-date links available over the Internet are chosen. A synopsis for each topic helps members select the most important information for their needs. All topics, subtopics and links are regularly reviewed to reflect members changing priorities.
