Adrian McDonald is the President, EMEA at EMC and is responsible for the company’s overall revenue generation, management and business strategy in the region.
Adrian’s passion is for elevating the discussion around technology to one of driving strategic business change and transformation, As such, he works closely with EMC’s Sales, Technology Solutions, Customer Service, and Partner/Alliance groups to communicate the unique value that EMC brings to this conversation.
Adrian is a longstanding veteran of EMC, having held senior management roles in the company for over two decades. He previously oversaw EMC’s EMEA-North region, before assuming responsibility for all of EMEA in July 2012. From 2003 to 2011, Adrian served as Senior Vice-President & General Manager for EMC’s business in the UK & Ireland, a period of significant growth in the company’s most mature international market when it became firmly established as a key contributor to EMC’s revenues.
Since joining EMC in 1988, Adrian has also held a variety of US-based, international and global positions. During the 1990s, Adrian helped to establish and then run many of EMC’s international subsidiaries.
Adrian is a strong advocate for corporate social responsibility and has championed EMC’s involvement in the Prince’s Trust, where he sits on the Technology Leadership Group committee, working to raise funds, support and awareness to reduce the numbers of young people facing long-term unemployment.
Adrian holds a BA Honours degree in History and Politics from Warwick University and is an alumnus of Columbia Business School.
